Stolen and Missing Items

A fine and rare Central Asian karud of large proportion, from the region of Bukhara. Good T-section blade of wootz steel, showing an interesting, but subtle, watered pattern. Lovely brown grips constructed of four well-fitted sections of rhinoceros horn, mounted with a fine silver tang band and bolsters. Sheath with copper upper mount and iron lower mount in three brazed segments; the middle wooden section with recent covering of green period fabric. Overall VG+; patches of moderate pitting ot lower scabbard mount, typical minor wear bruises to sheath, grips excellent with no chips or cracks, blade with scattered very fine pits. Blade 12 3/4", overall in sheath 19 3/4".

A Northern Indian lance head of the 17th century, possibly from the Delhi Sultanate. Thick blade of diamond section with crude incised decoration. Socket embellished with filed appointment. Overall fair to GC; fine dark patina with moderate to heavy rust scale, mostly to one side. Small losses at tip and socket throat. Overall 30 cm., blade approx. 19.5 cm.

Brass-Hilt MEXICAN CAVALRY SWORD WITH SCABBARD, mid-19th century. Similar to the US civil war models. Hilt leather is in great condition. Sword marked: “AC Mexico” on one side of ricasso and “RM” with “liberty cap” on the other. Overall length of sword is 41 inches. Length of blade is 33 inches.

Has a bone grip with name "Manuel Navarro" carved on it, the Mexican Eagle and tequila symbols. It has a curved blade, engraved with the scenes of tequila making, naked ladies, drinking and the motto "viva el maguey" (worm). The blade also has the name of the owner, Manuel Navarro, engraved on it. It has the early Mexican screwed guard construction ( one bar absent). There appears to be a professional repair to the blade. It is 32 inches overall length.

This one is a rusty early machete with eagle-birdhead pommel. It is crude, rough and early, with very primitive decoration and is 27 inches overall length.
