#BQ1590 – French M1822 Percussion Cavalry Holster Pistol – $895.00
This .69 cal. pistol was originally a flintlock and would have been converted to percussion in the 1830's. Side of barrel stamped “1835.” The lock stamped St. Etienne; stock with many stamps, including “Mutzig,” “Thomas” and “34.” GC; with a couple of replaced screws, missing the ramrod and swivel ring. Very good bore. With a little TLC this will be a fine example. Many of these guns were imported for use during the American Civil War. 20 cm. barrel, 36.3 cm. overall.
