#BQ1596 – Rare 1912 Imperial German Silver Iron Cross Flag Nail – $245.00

Hand engraved with Prussian crown and 1st Class Iron Cross motif, stamped “800/1000”. Highest quality as would be expected of Imperial material, in great condition with very light surface wear. Flag Nails were mounted on the flag poles of  Imperial Veteran Units much as streamers are used in the U.S. From a Hamburg collection, this is a wonderful piece of Imperial militaria that will display beautifully. 8.2 cm. tall, 15.8 gr.weight.
