#BQ161 - Japanese Abumi (Stirrups) - $2995.00

Each is about 10 1/2" high, 12" long, 6" wide. Iron construction, completely covered with mother-of-pearl. With much of the original pattern, but with restored areas to leading frontal surfaces not following the original design. Bearing family mon of triple-diamond pattern, used by Hinata and Nakajima families, among others. Probably late 18^th century. Red interior of cinnabar lacquer. VG overall condition.
