# BQ2352 - Spanish Colonial Cup Hilt Rapier, ca. 1800 - $ 1680.00

An early colonial sword with hand forged iron mounts including a shallow bowl guard with curved quillons and knuckle bow and a turned hardwood grip. The straight rapier blade is double edged with spear point. The sword is in excellent original condition with overall brownish black age patina. The blade shows period resurfacing and slightly blunted tip. Lacking scabbard. 94.7 cm. overall.
