# BQ2534 - Rare WWII U.S. Trench Art Artillery Shell Casing, 1942 Adak - $ 150.00

Excellent small (37mm.) example with shield design and the words "Adak, Aleutian Islands, 1942, Janie" worked over its surface. Displays muted age patina and slight irregularities at top edge. There are numerous head stamps, and added holes on side and bottom from earlier mounting as a lamp. 22.3cm. overall.
