# J-JK1 - An Edo Period Japanese Hineno Kabuto - $ 5000.00

An Edo period Japanese 3-plate Hineno Kabuto with its original mustachioed ho-ate style menpo. Original dark brown lacquer finish with gilded visor plate. Shikoro and neck guard each with 5 lames, the lower gilded. With a simple brass maidate. Overall VG; liner intact, a few small chips to the lacquer finish, some minor losses at the edges of the unadorned fukigaeshi. Missing one gold button which retains the shikoro to the hachi on the right side. Stand not included but available for an additional $100. An excellent, interesting and displayable item.
