# JD1 - A WWII Period Japanese Police Dirk - $ 750.00

A good Japanese dirk, probably for police, with brass mounts and white metal scabbard. The scabbard is non-magnetic and appears to be of polished or nickel plated aluminum with nickel plated brass band and wooden inserts. Excellent brown leather grip with binding of fine twisted brass wire, both 100% intact. Steel blade with faux temper line and single narrow fuller. Thumb-button type retention. Overall VG; minor wear to grip and one small dent and a number of small dings to the edge of the scabbard. Blade 30cm, overall 44.5 cm.
