# BQ2833 - An Excellent Mid-19th Century Spanish Saber with Dog's Head Pommel - $ 510.00

An excellent mid-19th century Spanish saber, brass mounted with a handsome dog head pommel. The grip is covered in reptile skin with twisted wire in the grooves. Slightly curved, single-edged, double-fullered blade, etched “Raphael Teja” and in part “Por Aragon”. Very good period used condition with minor to moderate rust pitting and age patina to blade; the crossguard slightly loose. The scabbard lacking. 94.2 cm. overall.
