# BQ2888 - A U.S. Civil War Period Horse Fleam - $ 175.00

A mid-19th century pocket-knife style horse fleam characteristic of the type in use during the U.S. Civil War. It has three various sized blades, one of which is maker stamped but worn and unreadable. The handle is brass mounted with scales of cow horn. This lancet tool is in very good period used condition with minor blade rust and small insect nips on the horn. 15.2 cm. overall open.
