# 1002-309 - A Nepalese Kukri - $ 115.00

A Nepalese kukri, probably a 19th century example, in its leather covered wooden sheath with iron chape. Single-fullered hand-forged steel blade, struck with a mark above the obverse cho; the blade basically a dui chirra. One-piece hardwood grip with ring and iron bolsters and pommel cap. GC; the blade with no rust or pitting, covered in old cosmolene, the sheath open at the bottom seam and the leather dry and flaking with areas of leather loss. Blade 31.3 cm., overall in sheath 45.7 cm.
