# BQ3211 - A Mid. 20th Century Royal British Marine Wolseley Pith Helmet with Original Metal Case - $ 420.00

A mid-20th century vintage Wolseley, totally original and untouched, with the 1954 helmet crest of Elizabeth II and brass ball form finial. The interior is maker stamped, "Trayler & Co., High Street, Portsmouth." The original leather and chain chin strap is present. The earlier metal storage case housed the helmet when purchased and has the maker's plate, "L. Jones Ltd., London," etc. Overall fine condition with minor period wear . The case with minor surface dents and paint loss. Approx. size 7 1/2.
