# 1002-345 - A Mid-20th Century Nepalese Kukri - $ 75.00

A mid-20th century Nepalese kukri with its original leather sheath. The grip of geometrically engraved aluminum, with low single central ring and copper brass bolsters and pommel. Long blade of slender proportion, abrupt drop and diminutive cho, with two narrow hand-engraved fullers and sickle marks to either side. In the original leather sheath, tooled in a geometric pattern, with two aluminum bands and copper brass chape. The rear with accomodation for two bi-knives, one of which is still present. Overall fair condition; the blade with large areas of active rust, the sheath well worn, dry and flaking. Overall in sheath 53.2 cm.
