# 1002-352 - A 19th Century Nepalese Kukri - $ 150.00

A robust 19th century kukri with double fullered, hand-forged steel blade. The hilt of hardwood with carved ring and uncommon ridged pommel and iron bolster. The blade with large, well-filed cho and struck to the reverse with a similarly shaped mark, also being struck to the obverse with a small maker's mark. Overall GC; the blade with areas of dark spotting and scattered very light pitting/oxidation. The grip with a large (old) chip at the top edge of the pommel and another smaller one at the top behind the bolster. Blade 33 cm., overall 44 cm. Lacking the sheath.
