# BQ913 - European Swept Hilt Rapier, Style of ca. 1600 - $ 1435.00

A European swept hilt rapier in the style of the 16th/17th century, possibly from the atelier of Ernst Schmidt, Munich, late 19th C. Well made with hand-forged unmarked blade and guard. Twisted iron wire grip with nickel ferrules. Generally excellent condition with light pitting and surface rust. 49" overall, blade 42".
