With round, damascus twist turn-off barrels. The square sided frames have Liege proof marks and are extensively engraved with scrolled foliage. The triggers are concealed and pop out as the hammers are set. The walnut grips profusely carved in leaf and tendril design and each has a hinged steel percussion cap compartment at its base. Untouched age patina. Obtained from the family of a U.S. WWI Vet who purchased them at a street market in Paris at the end of the war. Each pistol is 15.3 cm. overall.
