# JK15 - A Fine Japanese Edo Period Kogai - $ 395.00

A Japanese Edo period kogai, covered in either gold leaf or gilded silver, with finely detailed inset of two samurai and a horse tied to a tree. The work comprised of carved shakudo and gold inlays on a fine nanako background. G condition with some minor rubbing and losses to the gold/silver overlay. A very attractive example. Overall 21.1 cm.
