#SP1 – A Pair of Spanish Double-barreled Pinfire Pocket Pistols by Aretio Vitoria – $995.00
An interesting pair of Spanish double-barreled pinfire pocket pistols, ca. 1860, in .45 caliber, numbered #2 and #21. Gun #2 is stamped between the barrels "FCA DE ARETIO VITORIA." The barrels drop down when the gun is in the full cocked position. Gun #21 has a pierced ball on the butt to accomodate a lanyard. Overall NRA good; both guns function properly, though the barrels on #2 exhibit slight looseness, particularly when in the unlocked position. The triggers on #21 may be old replacements, as the fit is not quite as good as on #2, and a smoother texture is discernable. Half of the screw head through the rear of the underside of the lockplate to the butt is missing. All metal components with light oxidation and fine pitting.
